Chris' Birthday

Yesterday was Chris' birthday. Friday night we all went out to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Saturday, Chris and his dad, Josh and Jesse went golfing. Sunday I made him eggs benedict in bed. We had a delicious rib lunch with birthday cake then we went up to Salt Lake to bless Josh and Susels baby, Afterward everyone came down for the blessing dinner. It was a nice weekend.

Us before Church.

Blowing out his candles!

Easter

We had a nice Easter/Conference weekend. Saturday morning we went to the Eagle Mountain egg hunt and froze to death as usual. We dyed eggs that night then the Easter Bunny came and hid eggs all over the house and brought baskets too. We spent the rest of the day listening to Conference then that afternoon we had a nice Easter dinner: Ham, funeral potatoes and asparagus with a lamb cake for desert!

Burrr.

Our eggs came out real nice.

Yum!

Fun Day Out

The first warm day this year was a couple of weeks ago, so I kept the boys home from school and we went up to Salt Lake for some fun activities.
First we stole Daddy from work and went to lunch then off to the hospital to see the new cousin Derek!
Isn't he a cutiepie!!

Then to feed the fat ducks. There is a story behind this: a few months ago Chris read an article saying that the ducks at Liberty Park were too fat to fly south this winter from all the people feeding them!! So of course I had to see this! But it was a little disappointing, I was expecting freakishly fat ducks, they were pretty plump but not as huge as I was hoping and there were geese and seagulls everywhere.

We then took Chris back to work and I took the boys to the zoo and Chris met up with us a little later it was a nice day and we had lots of fun.
